GERMAN CLEANTECH EVENT | 10 YEARS OF PASSION

An anniversary is not only an opportunity to celebrate the past, but also to look into the future and discover new horizons. On October 9, 2023, we had the privilege of celebrating the joint company anniversary of Prof. Dr. Berg & Kießling GmbH and Euro-K GmbH – a memorable day on which we celebrated not only our successful past, but also our promising future. We would like to sincerely thank all participants, our customers, partners and friends who shared this special day with us.

A CELEBRATION OF RESILIENCE AND TOGETHERNESS.

Our anniversary was more than just an occasion for celebration. Originally planned to celebrate an anniversary earlier, we had to postpone our plans due to the global challenges posed by the COVID 19 pandemic. However, despite the adversity, we were determined to celebrate this special day with our team and guests.

A highlight of our anniversary event was undoubtedly the valuable presentations that inspired and informed us. We had the pleasure of welcoming renowned experts in the fields of biomass energy and vegetable carbon. The presentation on energy generation for the future using the example of T-Cell by Prof. Dr. Berg highlighted the importance of sustainable energy sources and their role in an environmentally conscious future. Our guests were further given insights by Mr. Kießling into the latest developments and possibilities in the field of biomass, which not only protect the environment but also offer economic advantages.

The presentation on plant charcoal by the Forschungsinstitut für Bergbaufolgelandschaften e. V. opened up a world of potential for us in agriculture and environmental protection. Plant charcoal, also known as biochar, is a fascinating solution for improving soil quality and storing carbon. This presentation highlighted the opportunities and applications of this innovative approach. We are pleased to announce that we have the exciting presentation by Mr. Zimmermann (German Biochar e.V.) on the latest developments in plant carbon available for you on our YouTube channel. A SPECIAL LOOK BEHIND THE SCENES & OUTLOOK FOR THE COMING YEAR AND THE CLEANTECH AWARD 2024.

We were thrilled by the extraordinary interest shown by all participants in the creation process of our biomass combined heat and power plant (CHP) ClinX. During the event, guests had the opportunity to visit the individual stations of the CHP, from container removal to electrical engineering and micro gas turbine technology, all the way to the finished plant. It was inspiring to see our guests’ enthusiasm for the technology and the process. Another highlight was the interest in the H2 test bed, which represents the future of hydrogen technology. The curious questions and engagement of our attendees at these stations showed the importance of promoting innovation and sustainability.

We are already looking forward to next year, when we will present the 2024 Cleantech Award to external contributions on the topic of sustainability. This award recognizes outstanding initiatives and projects that are working towards a more sustainable future. More information will follow, and we look forward to the inspiring contributions we will honor in the coming year.
