BIOMASS BHKW ClinX: Energy in the form of electricity and heat from wood
Energy generation from wood: We convert wood residues and wood waste into energy and heat by means of our innovative CHP ClinX! With the development of the externally fired micro gas turbine (EFGT), we have made it our task to efficiently use even low energy potentials and to enable an environmentally friendly utilization of residual materials.
ClinX, the CHP system, stands for “Clean Incineration of X” – the clean combustion of any residual materials or biomass. These residual materials are converted decentrally on site into electricity, heat and or cooling and made usable instead of being disposed of at a cost. For B+K, there is no waste, only energy sources. The decentralized energy supply or power generation, exactly where it is needed, makes ecological and economic sense.

ClinX makes the best use of energetic potentials of the materials and plays a pioneer role in the power classes due to the advanced technology of pollution control. The Combined Heat-power Plant (CHP) is designed for the utilization of heterogeneous and woody fuels. What’s more special is that, with ClinX® even wood residues with a high branch and bark proportion and a high water content can be converted into electricity and heat.
Green energy from wood: We recycle forest residues, landscape conservation wood, untreated industrial residues and damaged wood. Up to now, a large part of the woody residual material remains unused for other systems due to intermixed residual materials. In Germany, this affects 11.8 million tons of forest residues and 1.1 million tons of landscape management wood annually.
Advantage of wood energy: In addition, many times the solid wood residues are merely burned without the resulting heat being used efficiently and without generating electricity in parallel. We strive for sustainable decentralized energy generation from wood or wood waste.
BIOMASS CHP CLINX: OPERATION BY MEANS OF COGENERATION (CHP)
The basic principle of combined heat and power (CHP) is quickly explained: When a fuel (such as wood) is burned, heat is initially generated. This drives a turbine and a generator produces electricity by converting the mechanical energy into electrical energy. The efficiency of energy production is particularly high, as the same primary energy produces both usable heat and green electricity. In the CHP-ClinX, this principle is realized through the combination of a combustion chamber and an externally fired microturbine. The system combines innovative technology, durable materials and engineering expertise. The plant is characterized above all by robust individual components and a long product service life.

AREAS OF APPLICATION OF THE BIOMASS CHP CLINX
ClinX is a combination of a combustion chamber with an external combusted micro gas turbine, ClinX® is a versatile product. The system is suitable wherever wood residues occur or cheap energy is required.

How do we define energy from wood residues? In all these cases, ClinX® realizes decentralized energy generation, in which the system uses mixed wood residues as cheap fuel resource. ClinX® can thus increase the independence of corporations, solve the disposal problems and save CO2.

The technology offers a wide range of applications, which depends on the available material flows in each case. ClinX can provide environment friendly and profitable heat and electricity both in wood industry, forestry, agriculture and in communities, as well as in public facilities and hotels.
