The Professor Dr. Berg & Kießling GmbH (B + K) was founded in 2012 in Cottbus in Lausitz. Our strength lies in the development and manufacture of decentralized CHP systems based on an air-bearing micro gas turbine. With the development of our overall system with externally fired micro gas turbine, which is marketed under the brand name ClinX, we have made it our task to efficiently use even low energy potentials with the ClinX cogeneration unit and to enable environmentally neutral recycling of previously unused raw material sources.

Sebastian Kießling is responsible for the organizational areas of development, production and sales. As a co-founder of the B + K group of companies, he led the successful development of the world’s first series burners for micro gas turbines , which are based entirely on Selective Laser Melting technology.

Climate Protection from Germany! The Lausitz energy region is in a state of upheaval. There are numerous initiatives to keep Lusatia as an energy region even after the coal phase-out. We also see ourselves as an actor in this network. For years there have been good framework conditions for us in Cottbus to grow as a young company and to develop future-oriented technologies . The technology and innovation center on the former airfield in Cottbus offers us enough space, good infrastructure and proximity to the university.
Numerous institutions are at our side with their offer of support, such as the Lausitz eV Economic Initiative, the WFBB, the Energy Technology Cluster Berlin-Brandenburg and the BTU CS. We benefit from the expertise in this region ; many of our employees studied at the BTU.
As a company, we are firmly anchored in Cottbus and Lusatia and would like to make our contribution to ensuring that this region is also seen as an innovative and livable energy region in the future.
