We, Prof. Dr. Berg & Kießling GmbH from Cottbus (Lausitz), want to actively shape the energy and heat transition since 2012! With our innovative micro gas turbine package with combined heat and power, we have developed a unique energy system that uses renewable biomass or residual materials for a reliable heat and power supply on site. The ClinX sustainable energy system includes a burner that provides clean, high-temperature heat for the externally fired microturbine. This package provides energy users with efficient heat and power in a fully integrated package. We are excited to enable our customers to convert clean, reliable, and 100% renewable distributed energy solutions using wood waste, renewable wood chips, and more to efficiently utilize even small energy potentials and enable environmentally neutral utilization of previously unused raw material sources. The energy region Lausitz is now in the middle of transition. There are numerous initiatives to keep Lausitz as an energy region even after the phase-out of fossil fuels. We also regard ourselves as activists in this network. For years there have been good framework conditions in Cottbus for us to grow as a young company and to develop future-oriented technologies. The technology and innovation center on the former airfield in Cottbus offers us enough space, good infrastructure and accesses to the university.
Numerous institutions are by our side with their offer of support, such as the Lausitz eV Economic Initiative, the WFBB, the Energy Technology Cluster Berlin-Brandenburg and the BTU C-S. We benefit from the expertise in this region; many of our employees have studied at the BTU.
As a company, we are firmly anchored in Cottbus and Lusatia and would like to make our contribution to ensuring that this region is also seen as an innovative and livable energy region in the future.
