B+K wins coveted regional award “Attractive Employer of the City of Cottbus 2022”! Our office manager Johannes Mundstock (center) was able to accept the award on behalf of the entire team during the annual event “EGC Wirtschaftsforum 2022”, with invited guests from politics, administration and business in the Rose Garden of the Cottbus Spreeauenpark.

Under the heading “Attractive employer in the city of Cottbus”, the EGC Entwicklungsgesellschaft Cottbus mbH, together with several supra-regional partners, selected Cottbus companies a few days ago, which have particularly committed themselves to securing skilled workers as well as recruiting personnel and were able to convince the jury with modern, sustainable as well as family-friendly working conditions. Criteria included good ideas, entrepreneurial foresight and family-friendly offers for the workforce, which bind employees to the company and thus become a figurehead of the city of Cottbus as an attractive place to work and live.

VALUE CREATION THROUGH APPRECIATION – OUR PERSONNEL POLICY IS A CENTRAL COMPONENT OF OUR CORPORATE DNA

Entrepreneurial foresight as well as a continuous wealth of ideas contribute just as much as the compatibility of work and family, flexible working hours, project work in the future topic of climate change and energy systems, continuous further training opportunities, open communication and, last but not least, appreciation to retaining employees in the long term and thus surviving in regional competition. As an award-winning “Attractive Employer of the City of Cottbus”, B+K represents an employee-oriented personnel policy that is characterized by the above attributes.

“We award companies whose employees enjoy going to work and feel highly valued and supported. It shows that these companies thus have better chances on the personnel market as well as find more willing and loyal employees and thus have more sustainable economic success,” says Mayor Holger Kelch, who has assumed patronage for the new competition.

We are very proud to have won the award in comparison with almost 50 companies and also see the award as confirmation of our long-term personnel policy. Would you also like to become part of our team in the future and actively support us in the fight against climate change and the energy crisis? Or are you interested in our modern working conditions? We have summarized all the information for you on our careers page! We look forward to meeting you at the next possible opportunity!
