Plan future as community and pursue goals together.
The first prototype plant of the new energy conversion system based on the microturbines was built within the framework of the ProFIT Brandenburg project for the development of an externally fired microturbine system for decentralized energy conversion (EFGT). The project was supported by a loan and a grant from the European Regional Development Fund and the Brandenburg Investment Bank. The concept of the externally fired micro gas turbine enables the user to make economic use of materials previously insufficiently utilised for energy generation in order to cover the demand for electricity, heat, and cooling.
Since the start of the project in October 2016, a network of regional and international suppliers and cooperation partners has been assembled and the system has been designed and built. The cooperation with the Chair of Internal Combustion Engines and Flight Propulsion Systems at BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg underscores the developmental character of the project.
